Littlesack: Hey, I signed up for the Marathon, did I tell you?
Dad: You go girl! (genuinely excited, and in the most feminine voice he can muster)
Mom: The WHOLE THING?! Are you kidding me?! Why would you DO that?!
...Can't you just be happy for me that I'm trying something I've been talking about for years?

I think there is always that fundamental difference between parents!
BAAAAAAHAHAHAHA! So funny. I love getting reactions like that.
I am excited for you!!!
I ran my first marathon over 2 years ago... Marine Corps Marathon.
2 weeks after running the Baltimore Half. Not exactly my wisest decision!
Running Baltimore made me fall in love with the city in a way I had never been able to before.
Watch for the Gummi Bear man!!! LOVE HIM. :)
Congrats and good luck!
Don't be silly..... :)
Yay! I think parents just have to be opposites...its the rule.
that sounds exactly. EXACTLY. like a reaction i might get from mi madre and padre.
although i will say. [my mom doesnt mean any harm...most of the time.]
Im proud of you!!!!
My parents would be the same way! It's almost funny.
Good luck with the marathon.
This is so true!! My dad always smiles and thinks things are great ideas and my mum always worries!
Have a great weekend x
